Girl Died in Pedestrian Accident at Kowloon Auto Sales

 
San Jose, CA (January 01, 2021) – On Wednesday, a young girl died in a pedestrian accident at Kowloon Auto Sales on Monterey Highway.
 
The fatal incident happened at Kowloon Auto Sales on the 3600 block area.
 
Police said a car carrier was unloading vehicles at the dealership.
 
The driver was trying to move a truck off the trailer when the victim jumped onto the trailer directly in front of the truck.
 
Unfortunately, the truck rolled forward and crashed with the girl which critically injured her.
 
Immediately, the rescuers took the victim to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m.
 
The incident was San Jose’s 47th traffic incident of the year while the girl is the 48th victim of a fatal collision in 2020.
 
Meanwhile, police are investigating the crash and that the driver is cooperating with authorities. The identity of the girl has not been released.
 
The authorities withheld the deceased’s identity.
