Yimeng Li and Carney Huang Killed on State Route 376 Head-On Crash

 
Nye County, NV (January 17, 2021) – On Wednesday, 25-year-old Yimeng Li and 20-year-old Carney Huang of Seattle, WA, died in a tragic head-on crash on State Route 376.
 
The fatal crash took place at around 6:13 p.m. north of Tonopah.
 
A 2020 Toyota Sienna was traveling northbound on State Route 376, while a 1997 Ford F-250 was moving south toward Tonopah.
 
For unidentified reasons, the Toyota driver let the car cross the centerline and into the path of the Ford.
 
As a result, the two vehicles crashed head-on.
 
Li and Huang succumbed to their injuries on the crash scene.
 
Meanwhile, rescuers took three other occupants of Toyota to the hospital.
 
Similarly, responders also took the Ford driver and passenger to the hospital.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
