Yarely Jasso-Gomez Killed in Modesto Car Crash on Sisk Road, Kelley Ball Detained

 
MODESTO, CA (UPDATE) – On Sunday, authorities arrested Kelley Ball after a fatal hit-and-run accident on Sisk Road that killed Yarely Jasso-Gomez.
 
Moreover, according to Modesto police, they are still investigating the fatal incident, occurring on Sisk Road and Plaza Parkway, not far from the Olive Garden.
 
Furthermore, the crash happened while 12-year-old Gomez and her brother, 15, were in the back seat of the family’s vehicle.
 
Shortly after, Kelley Ball struck their vehicle.
 
As a result, Yarely died at the scene, and medics airlifted her brother to a Bay Area hospital with major injuries.
 
According to Sharon Bear, spokesperson for the Modesto Police Department, the responsible driver, Kelley Ball, fled the scene. However, the authorities later detained her.
