Yamaha Raptor Driver Dead in Vehicle Crash on Walnut Avenue [Perris, CA]

Perris, CA (May 6, 2025) – A Yamaha Raptor driver was killed in a vehicle crash on Walnut Avenue Saturday night.

The fatal crash between two Yamaha Raptors and a Dodge Charger happened around 7:15 p.m. in the area of El Nido Avenue.

According to the investigators, the Dodge was traveling west on Walnut Avenue when it attempted to use the eastbound lane to pass a group of off-road vehicles traveling west. However, the move resulted in the collision.

One of the Raptor drivers was declared dead at the scene. 

The second Raptor driver sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The Dodge driver remained at the crash scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Police said neither drugs nor alcohol was a factor in the collision.
