WSP Trooper Injured in Car Crash on 90 Freeway at Barker Road Exit [Spokane Valley, WA]

1 Hospitalized after Spokane Valley Car Accident

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (February 12, 2019) – A WSP trooper on the scene of a collision on 90 Freeway in Spokane Valley sustained injuries when his vehicle was hit by a passing car on February 10.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the trooper was taken to a hospital after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers were at a scene responding to a collision around 6:15 p.m. on eastbound 90 Freeway at the Barker exit when the vehicle hit the WSP car.

The vehicle’s driver was arrested and will be charged with vehicular assault.

Meanwhile, an alternate route from 90 Freeway was administered to make way for the investigation.
