Wrong-Way DWI Collision on Interstate 10 Led to Injury [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (January 20, 2024) On Friday morning, a 40-year-old man was taken to the hospital after a wrong-way DWI collision on Interstate 10

According to San Antonio police (SAPD), the head-on collision happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 10 northbound, just before Vance Jackson Road.

Reports say that a black Nissan Sentra driven by a 34-year-old man was going the wrong way on I-10 near Boerne State Road and crashed head-on with a gray Hyundai Accent.

Authorities say that the driver of the Hyundai was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Meanwhile, police arrested the Nissan driver for a possible DWI.

SAPD is investigating the head-on collision and has not released further information at this time.
