1 Person Dead in Houston Auto Accident near 13800 Hardy Toll Road

HOUSTON, TX (March 9, 2025) – Saturday morning, a fatal wrong-way crash near 13800 Hardy Toll Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. near the 13800 block of southbound Hardy Toll Road.

According to Constable Mark Herman’s office, a 26-year-old woman was driving the wrong way and collided with another vehicle.

Moreover, responders rushed both drivers to a hospital where the other driver, identified as a 45-year-old man, was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the 26-year-old female wrong-way driver is now facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter.

Meanwhile, the crash closed the southbound lanes of the Hardy Toll Road but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
