Woodrow Gibson Killed in Woodside Car Crash on Skyline Boulevard

 
WOODSIDE, CA (July 5, 2020) – Friday night, 27-year-old Woodrow Gibson died in a DUI car accident on Skyline Boulevard near Thomas Fogarty Winery.
 
The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. on Skyline Boulevard, south of Rapley Ranch Road. According to reports, a white BMW 540i traveled south while speeding.
 
However, when the driver approached a curve, he lost control of the car and drove off the road. Afterward, the driver struck a tree and overturned back on the road in the southbound lane.
 
The 27-year-old male passenger, Mr. Gibson, died at the scene. Meanwhile, responders transported the 27-year-old driver to Stanford Medical Center in critical condition Saturday.
 
The fatal crash led authorities to shut down both lanes for four hours.
 
Furthermore, the CHP stated that enough evidence at the scene confirmed that the factors of the crash are alcohol and drugs.
