65-Year-Old Discovery Bay Woman Struck by Vehicle near Davison Drive

ANTIOCH, CA (December 2, 2018) – A woman in a wheelchair was seriously injured early Sunday morning following a hit-and-run crash on Lone Tree Way. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed to the public.

As per reports, the incident happened near Davison Drive, at about 3:00 AM. The victim was wheeling herself across the street when she was struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian, described as a 65-year-old Discovery Bay woman, was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition. Further updates on her current medical condition were not provided. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the area.

Investigators are following up on evidence left at the scene and potential surveillance footage of the collision.
