Graham Woman Transported in State Route 162 Vehicle Collision [Pierce County, WA]

Pierce County, WA (May 29, 2023) – On Saturday night, a 46-year-old Graham woman sustained injuries following a State Route 162 vehicle collision.

The traffic accident took place at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection with 128th Street East involving two vehicles.

Investigating officers said the 20-year-old Buckley man was driving a white 2002 Volkswagen Jetta Sedan when he crossed over the center line and struck a silver 2012 Mazda SUV driven by a 47-year-old Puyallup man.

The Graham woman who was a passenger in the Mazda was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. 

The authorities believed the 20-year-old man was driving erratically before to collision but they do not suspect impairment. The authorities took the driver to the hospital with unknown injuries.
