1 Dead in Redding Pedestrian Accident on Hartnell Avenue and Victor Avenue

 
REDDING, CA (February 25, 2021) – Wednesday night, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on Hartnell Avenue and Victor Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at 6:47 p.m. at the intersection of Hartnell Avenue and Victor Avenue.
 
According to the officials, a woman attempted to walk across the north side to the south side of Hartnell Avenue. Then, a black 2005 Chevy Trailblazer hit her.
 
Meanwhile, the Redding Police Department said that the woman didn’t use the crosswalk when she walked into traffic. Thus, the driver couldn’t avoid the crash.
 
As a result, the woman sustained major injuries. Later, she died upon transportation at Mercy Hospital.
 
RPD added that alcohol or drugs didn’t play a role in the collision.
