Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Highway 138 at Quail Lake Road [GORMAN, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car on Highway 138 in Gorman

 
GORMAN, CA (August 25, 2019) – A woman died after struck by a car Sunday night on Highway 138 in Gorman, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 5:32 a.m. along the eastbound lanes of Highway 138 west of Quail Lake Road.
 
According to the CHP, a gray Toyota Corolla hit a female pedestrian, sending the woman down on the ground.
 
Firefighters arrived and located the woman lying on the roadway. Life-saving efforts were performed but the victim was declared dead at the scene.
 
Officials also found a green Kia Solara in the area, unknown if it also struck the victim.
 
An ongoing investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
