Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Geysers Road [CLOVERDALE, CA]

Fatal Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on Geysers Road in Cloverdale

 
CLOVERDALE, CA (June 27, 2019) – An unidentified woman was killed early Thursday morning in a pedestrian crash on Geysers Road.
 
CHP officials responded around 3:47 a.m., in the 2400 block of Geysers Road. They eventually located a blue Subaru on the right shoulder with its hazard lights on. A female pedestrian was also found lying in front of the car.
 
A coroner was immediately notified and pronounced the woman dead at the scene as a result of the impact. However, the identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
 
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the wreckage. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired. Police are still working on the incident and will release additional information as the investigation proceeds.
