Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash at Florin Road and 55th Street [SACRAMENTO, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Florin Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 14, 2019) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday evening in South Sacramento County, the California Highway Patrol said.
 
The crash happened around 7:50 p.m. at Florid Road and 55th Street, just east of Highway 99.
 
Arriving emergency personnel found the woman lying in the roadway and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
The vehicle that struck the victim reportedly took off after the crash without rendering aid.
 
At this time, officials are still investigating the incident and on the lookout for the suspect.
