Hit-and-Run Driver Flees Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (December 20, 2019) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at East Harmon Avenue and South Pecos Road Wednesday evening.
According to reports, the crash unfolded around 4:50 p.m. Lieutenant officers say a woman crossed South Pecos Road outside of a crosswalk near Harmon Avenue. As a result, died after the car struck her.
The car, described as an older model SUV, continued eastbound, and its driver failed to show any regard for the injured pedestrian.
Unfortunately, the woman died moments later. Authorities will release her identity once the next of kin has been notified.
Anyone with information concerning the hit-and-run driver or the vehicle should call officials.
