Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Williams Road and Keltner Avenue [San Jose, CA]

1 Dead in San Jose Accident on Williams Road

 
SAN JOSE, CA (August 20, 2020) – Saturday night, a woman died in a hit-and-run crash on Williams Road in San Jose.
 
Moreover, the incident happened at around 9:40 p.m. on Williams Road and Keltner Avenue. According to reports, a vehicle struck a woman who had been walking in the westbound lane of Williams Road outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the car escaped the scene. The authorities described the vehicle as a possible 2001 to 2003 blue or green Chevrolet Silverado or a 2001 to 2004 Ford F-150. Furthermore, after being transported to a local hospital, the woman later succumbed to her injuries.
 
Additionally, the police added that the involved vehicle may have minor front end damage.
 
On the other hand, the identity of the deceased remains unreleased due to pending family notification. According to records, the incident was the 27th deadly crash and 27th fatality in San Jose for this year.
