Pedestrian Dies in Hit-And-Run Crash on SR-512 in Lakewood

 
Seattle, WA (September 5, 2020) – Friday night, a 39-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run crash on SR-512 near Steele Street.
 
The crash happened on Friday, September 4.
 
Investigators say the woman was running eastbound in the westbound lanes of SR-512, near Steele Street when hit by two vehicles. Unfortunately, the two drivers immediately fled the scene.
 
The identity of the woman has not been released.
 
The road remained closed for several hours during cleanup and investigation but has since reopened.
 
WSP continues to investigate and is asking anyone with additional information about the incident to contact 911.
