42-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Vernon Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (December 22, 2023) – A 42-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash one Vernon Avenue Tuesday evening.

The authorities responded at 6:30 p.m. to the crash scene on Western Avenue.

Immediately, the rescuers took the injured woman to a hospital where she died. Officers withheld the deceased’s identity pending notification of kin.

Moreover, the involved driver left the scene but later returned. Officers interviewed the driver and later released her.

The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office for filing consideration.
