Several Critically Injured in Tukwila Car Crash

 
TUKWILA, WA (August 12, 2019) – A woman died in a head-on collision on Tukwila International Boulevard Monday night.
 
Authorities reported the incident around 7:00 PM, in the 12000 block of Tukwila International Boulevard. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
 
Per reports, an unidentified southbound vehicle crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons. As a result, the vehicle collided head-on with a car traveling north.
 
The driver of the northbound vehicle later identified as a female. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and died as a result of the crash.
 
In addition, both cars had two occupants inside. The three other victims were critically injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center for further medical evaluation. However, there has been no status update on their current medical status.
 
Also, Tukwila International Boulevard closed for a period of time. However, it has since been reopened.
 
However, there has been no information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
