1 Dead in Oakland Auto Accident on Interstate 580 and Edwards Avenue

 
OAKLAND, CA (February 15, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a woman died in a crash on Interstate 580 and Edwards Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at around 3:10 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 580 and Edwards Avenue, CHP Officer Sean Layton revealed.
 
When the officers arrived, they located a Green Plymouth Breeze damaged on the right shoulder of the freeway.
 
Meanwhile, authorities declared one female adult passenger dead at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took the male driver to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
At this time, the CHP officers continue to investigate the crash. Also, the officers believe that another car rear-ended the Breeze and fled the scene.
