FRESNO, CA (April 10, 2022) – Friday night, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on Blackstone Avenue and Sierra Avenue in Fresno.
 
The incident occurred just before 11:00 p.m. on Blackstone Avenue and Sierra Avenue.
 
According to the police, a woman ran into the path of a car driving on Blackstone Avenue.
 
After the crash, responders transported the woman to a nearby hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the police ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash.
 
“The driver of the vehicle involved is cooperative. We’re still trying to confirm the identity of the female who was struck by this vehicle,” revealed Fresno police Lt. Brian Valles.
 
Furthermore, officers shut down the road for multiple hours during the investigation.
