SEATTLE, WA (October 12, 2022) – Early Monday morning, a woman in a wheelchair died in a crash on Aurora Avenue North.
The incident happened at 4:32 a.m. in the 9800 block of Aurora Avenue North. According to reports, the driver of a vehicle that traveled south on Aurora struck a woman in a wheelchair. Then, the driver continued driving and left the scene.
After the crash, responders took the 44-year-old woman and were transported to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire Department medics. However, the woman later succumbed to her injuries.
