Deadly Two-Vehicle Accident Reported in Redmond

 
REDMOND, WA (June 27, 2019) – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 202 near Northeast Ames Lake Road Tuesday morning claimed a woman’s life.
 
The 4:30 a.m. accident happened near Northeast Ames Lake Road. According to news reports, a white pickup truck heading eastbound on the highway collided with a black vehicle.
 
According to troopers the black car was either attempting a turn on the roadway or traveling in the westbound lanes before the accident. Due to the force, the black vehicle overturned and killed its 19-year-old female driver. Two children—a 4-year-old and an infant—inside the vehicle sustained critical injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver sought treatment at a hospital and is expected to be okay.
