Fatal Pedestrian Crash on McKinley Avenue in French Camp
FRENCH CAMP, CA (September 4, 2019) – A woman died in a pedestrian crash late Wednesday evening on McKinley Avenue in French Camp.
The crash happened just before 11:00 p.m. north of Roth Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a female pedestrian was crossing the street when a silver Honda Civic struck her.
Paramedics arrived and found the pedestrian lying on the ground in front of the vehicle. Despite life-saving efforts, the woman died at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released pending family notification.
CHP officials are still investigating the incident to determine the cause and liability.
