Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle near Camino De La Plaza

SAN YSIDRO, CA (November 22, 2018) – A woman was injured Thursday evening following a pedestrian collision on Willow Road. The identity of the victim was not disclosed to the public.

According to the San Diego Police Department, a pedestrian was hit by a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta near Camino De La Plaza, at about 2:45 PM. Events that led to the collision were not immediately available.

The victim was rushed to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest with life-threatening head injuries. Further updates on her current medical condition were not immediately provided. Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Volkswagen driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
