Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on State Route 7 [Pierce County, WA]

Pierce County, WA (August 9, 2024) – A woman was injured following a pedestrian accident on State Route 7 Tuesday afternoon.

The authorities were called at 12:21 p.m. to the traffic crash on the southbound freeway at 134th Street South in Parkland.

Witnesses said that lights were flashing on the crosswalk when the woman walked and was struck by a vehicle.

The rescuers rushed the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators ruled out DUI in the collision.
