1 Hurt in Paradise Pedestrian Crash on Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road
PARADISE, NV (February 3, 2021) – Monday night, a woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road.
The authorities received a report of the crash between a pickup truck and a pedestrian at about 9:00 p.m. Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon revealed that a woman crossed Las Vegas Boulevard outside a crosswalk, south of Flamingo Road. Then, a black Chevy Silverado pickup hit her.
Afterward, the truck driver fled from the crash scene. However, the police managed to catch him about a mile away on Flamingo Road and Paradise Road. Authorities arrested the driver and they suspect impairment as a factor in the crash.
Meanwhile, responders took the woman to a hospital in stable condition. She is expected to recover.
The authorities continue to investigate the incident.
