Monique Grace Tremblay Detained in Petaluma Accident on B Street

 
PETALUMA, CA (July 28, 2019) – An 81-year-old woman sustained major injuries in an accident on B Street on July 20.
 
According to police, a car involved in a DUI crash struck her. The woman walked on the sidewalk near B Street and Pearce Street just after 8:00 a.m. After that, 32-year-old Monique Grace Tremblay from Petaluma in a westbound car hit a parked curbside.
 
The two vehicles stopped at the sidewalk where the vehicle struck the elderly woman. After that, Petaluma Fire Department paramedics transported the woman to Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa.
 
Tremblay sustained minor injuries and responders took her to Petaluma Valley Hospital. However, once her release authorities booked her into the Sonoma County Jail.
 
Police arrested Tremblay on suspicion of driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol and causing injury. In addition, authorities found a small amount of suspected cocaine in Tremblay’s car. As a result, she is charged with suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
