Pedestrian Hit, Injured by Driver in Reno
RENO, NV (June 28, 2019) – A driver struck and injured a female in a pedestrian accident on Meadowood Mall Way on Wednesday.
According to the Reno Police Department, the driver and female pedestrian both had a green light on Meadowood Mall Way at the time; however, the driver failed to see the woman crossing in the marked crosswalk.
Shortly after, paramedics transported her to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene, where officers later ruled out the possibility of impairment.
Authorities currently believe the woman had the right of way. More details will be released once available.
