Driver Wanted after Hit-and-Run Crash on Rock Boulevard near River’s Edge RV Park
SPARKS, NV (September 27, 2019) – A woman suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Rock Boulevard, Friday evening.
According to the Sparks Police Department, the incident happened near River’s Edge RV, at about 7:45 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a red Chevy Silverado that was exiting the driveway hit a 2014 Silver Chrysler 200. The driver of the Chrysler exited her vehicle and the Chevy drove by, hitting her.
Emergency responders rushed the woman to Renown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Updates on her current condition remain unknown.
The SPD confirmed that the Chevy driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Anyone with information can call Sparks police at (775) 353-2225 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900. Secret Witness is offering a $250 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
