Woman Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway at Triggs Street [COMMERCE, CA]

Semi Truck and SUV Collide on 5 Freeway in Commerce, Injuries Reported

 
COMMERCE, CA (June 20, 2019) – A woman was injured following a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Commerce.
 
The crash happened around 12:33 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway at Triggs Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi truck and an SUV collided, blocking the middle lanes of the freeway. The SUV overturned upon impact, and its female occupant was reportedly bleeding as a result of the crash.
 
Paramedics took the injured woman to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
