SAN DIEGO, CA (February 11, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a woman sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on South Grade Road near Manzanita View Road.
 
The incident happened at around 11:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol revealed. According to reports, the 19-year-old pedestrian walked south on the western edge of South Grade Road near Manzanita View Road. Then, an unknown type of vehicle hit her from behind.
 
After the crash, the motorist fled south, CHP public-affairs Officer Travis Garrow revealed.
 
Meanwhile, medical responders flew the victim to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego for treatment of severe injuries.
