MODESTO, CA (July 8, 2021) – Monday morning, a woman sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on McHenry and Morris Avenue.
 
According to Police Spokeswoman Sharon Bear, the incident happened at around 1:25 a.m. Moreover, it occurred near the intersection of McHenry and Morris Avenues.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound small dark sedan struck the female pedestrian crossing McHenry Avenue in a marked crosswalk. Then, the suspect vehicle fled the scene and turned east on a side street.

Meanwhile, officials confirmed that a male drove the hit-and-run vehicle.
 
Also, authorities closed southbound McHenry Avenue to give way to the investigation.
