AMERICAN CANYON, CA (August 3, 2021) – Saturday morning, a woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Highway 29 and American Canyon Road.
 
As the woman crossed the street at around 9:09 a.m, the incident happened. Moreover, the crash occurred on Highway 29 and American Canyon Road.
 
According to reports, a 2006 Toyota Tacoma veered from the northbound 29 onto east American Canyon Road. Then, it struck the woman in the crosswalk, said police Sgt. Jeff Scott.
 
Then, responders took the pedestrian to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with head trauma. Eventually, they transferred her to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center.
 
According to the pickup driver, he checked both ways of the intersection but didn’t see the pedestrian. Also, the driver came back to the crash scene and has been cooperative with the police.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t issued any citations.
 
Also, the authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
