SANTA MARIA, CA (February 2, 2022) – Tuesday night, a woman suffered injuries in a head-on crash on East Alvin Avenue near College Drive.
The incident happened just before 7:00 p.m. on East Alvin Avenue, between College Drive and Miller Street.
The Santa Maria Fire Department, the Police Department, and American Medical Response all came to the scene.
Reports confirmed that the incident involved a pickup truck and a small sedan. Also, the sedan driver suffered major injuries.
Then, an AMR ground ambulance transported her to Marian Regional Medical Center.
Then, a CalStar medical helicopter airlifted her to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of trauma injuries.
