Woman Injured in Bicycle Accident at Victor Street and Corta Drive (Victorville, CA)

Serious Injuries Reported Following Victorville Bicycle Collision

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 26, 2019) – A bicycle accident at Victor Street and Corta Drive in Victorville left a woman with serious injuries Thursday afternoon.
 
Officials said the female bicyclist collided with a Ford sedan at the intersection at around 5:18 p.m. The force of the collision ejected the bicyclist from her bike. A witness said she bled from her mouth and had a possible broken ankle.
 
The authorities requested a medical helicopter to airlift the patient. Helicopter H325 landed at Victor Valley Global Medical Center and took the bicyclist to a trauma center.
 
The woman driving the Ford remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
