35-Year-Old Woman Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Lamb Boulevard and Tonopah Avenue
Las Vegas, NV (July 14, 2020)– A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Lamb Boulevard and Tonopah Avenue on Thursday night.
Police responded to the scene on July 9 at Lamb Boulevard and Tonopah Avenue at about 10:20 p.m.
According to Metro Police, an SUV hit the pedestrian, a 35-year-old woman while crossing Lamb Boulevard in the northeast valley.
The woman was then transported to University Medical Center; however, the police said she died later. The now-deceased victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old female driver of the SUV and its passenger did not sustain injuries from the incident. Furthermore, the police said that she remained at the scene and was not impaired during the fatal crash.
The investigation remains on-going.
This pedestrian’s death marked the 48th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2020.
