Why Accidents Involving Pedestrians Have Skyrocketed

In a time like this where people are staying primarily indoors, the number of people who go on daily strolls outside has increased. With this, the likelihood of accidents involving pedestrians also increases.

However, there are ways that you can do both as a driver and a pedestrian to avoid tragic accidents from rising. As a driver, it’s important to remember that speeding and driving under the influence is illegal. The most vulnerable victims of DUIs and speeding are innocent pedestrians on the road.

When you are on the road, be cautious, and always look out for people on foot. Moreover, if you like taking walks outside, especially at night, bringing a flashlight with you can be beneficial. That way, drivers can see that the light is from a person walking on the road.
