Morning Pedestrian Crash on Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Chatsworth Turns Deadly

 
CHATSWORTH, CA (November 19, 2019) – A woman in her 60s died after struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Chatsworth, authorities said.
 
The fatal incident happened around 5:00 a.m. on Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Nordhoff Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene after being hit by an unknown vehicle.
 
The coroner’s office did not immediately release the victim’s name pending family notification.
 
The motorist remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Officers routed the traffic away from the area while they investigated the incident.
