1 Dead in California City Car Crash on Redwood Boulevard

 
CALIFORNIA CITY, CA (June 7, 2020) – Thursday evening, a woman suffered fatal injuries in a car accident on Redwood Boulevard.
 
The two-vehicle crash involving the woman occurred on Redwood Boulevard and 98th Street, said the California City Police Department.
 
After the crash, she was trapped in the wreckage. Then, responders took her to a local hospital. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
At this time, her identity hasn’t been released due to pending family notification. However, the police do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
 
As the authorities seek new leads, they are asking for the public’s help. They encourage anyone with information about the crash to contact California City police at 760-373-8606.
