Spokane County Fatal Crash Results in Fatality
Spokane County, WA (December 30, 2024) – A 75-year-old Medical Lake woman was fatally injured following a US 2 pedestrian accident Saturday evening.
It was around 6:45 p.m. when the fatal collision happened near Dover Road and the Fairchild Air Force Base.
Troopers said the woman entered the roadway and was struck by a westbound car. The accident report stated that the woman lived near the accident scene.
Officers said the pedestrian wore non-reflective jeans and dark clothing and the driver couldn’t avoid the collision.
The driver was not injured and the authorities found no indications that the driver was impaired at the time of the accident.
Meanwhile, police are investigating if the woman was impaired in any way.
