Police Seek Driver in Fatal Hit-and-Run That Killed 23-Year-Old Woman in Shoreline
Shoreline, WA (November 1, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a fatal pedestrian crash on State Route 523 claimed the life of a 23-year-old woman.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the fatal hit-and-run crash happened at about 10 p.m. on eastbound State Route 523.
Police are actively searching for a suspect involved in the fatal hit-and-run accident. Around 10 p.m.
Officials say that an eastbound driver on State Route 523 struck a 23-year-old woman as she was crossing the road.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities are withholding her identity until her family is informed.
Authorities say that after hitting the pedestrian, the driver fled the scene.
The Washington State Patrol has issued a yellow alert, urging the public to watch for a black 2007 GMC Yukon SUV with the Washington license plate #BIS1792.
