Woman Dies in Interstate 805 DUI Accident [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (September 24, 2021) – On Wednesday, a female pedestrian dies, while a officers arrested a female driver in Interstate 805 DUI accident.

The accident took place just before midnight south of Murray Ridge Road in the Serra Mesa area. 

Officers said the female pedestrian recently crashed her vehicle when she exited it and was struck by a passing motorist.

The involved driver said she drifted to avoid debris but ended up hitting the victim.

The authorities arrested the 24-year-old Toyota driver from San Diego on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
