1 Killed and 1 Hospitalized in Fresno Accident on Highway 41 and Central Avenue
FRESNO, CA (July 20, 2021) – On Monday, a woman died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 41 and Central Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident involved four vehicles. Moreover, it happened in the area of Central Avenue and Highway 41.
Reports revealed that a white Honda Insight traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, it rear-ended a black Toyota Yaris that was stopped at a red light. The force of the crash pushed the Yaris into the rear of a blue Honda Accord. Meanwhile, the Insight collided with the front side of a Chevy in the next lane of the highway.
Furthermore, responders transported the female driver of the Yaris to Community Regional Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead from major blunt force trauma.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Insight driver to Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Also, officials said that the Insight driver could be facing manslaughter charges.
