SUTTER COUNTY, CA (January 16, 2022) – Saturday morning, a woman died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Sutter Bypass Bridge.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 7:00 a.m. Moreover, it happened on Highway 20 near Sutter Bypass Bridge.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound 2018 Toyota Corolla lost control while descending the Sutter Bypass Bridge in dense fog. Then, the Corolla spun out of control into the opposite lane. Eventually, a westbound 2006 GMC Sierra struck the Corolla.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the 27-year-old female driver of the Corolla dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, CHP blocked Highway 20 for about 90 minutes to give way to the investigation
 
Meanwhile, officials withheld the identity of the victim due to pending family notification.
