FRESNO, CA (December 28, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a woman died in a solo crash on Colorado Road and Levee Road.
 
The incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. on Colorado Road and Levee Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed veered off the roadway and crashed down a canal that was full of water. The vehicle overturned, trapping the driver inside.
 
Moreover, a passenger of the vehicle managed to exit the vehicle and pulled the driver out of the wreckage. Responders pronounced the driver, a 38-year-old woman, dead at the scene.
