Hit-and-Run Vehicle Hits, Injures Woman in El Cajon Pedestrian Accident on Broadway
EL CAJON, CA (June 17, 2019) – A woman suffered severe injuries in Sunday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Broadway near Graves Avenue.
Paramedics and police responded to the 1:05 a.m. crash in the 200 block of Broadway. There, crews found a woman in her 40s lying on the westbound lanes of Broadway.
Investigators believe the pedestrian was struck mid-block while walking outside of a marked crosswalk. The driver, however, failed to remain at the scene and render aid.
According to reports, witnesses last saw the driver heading westbound on Broadway. Now, the El Cajon Police is asking anyone with information to call them at 619-579-3311.
