Homeless Woman Hospitalized after Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Accident on 23rd Street in Bakersfield

 
Bakersfield, CA (November 15, 2020) – Sunday night, a homeless woman was in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of 23rd and F streets.
 
The Bakersfield accident happened just before 11 p.m. on November 15.
 
Bakersfield Police reports say the woman had walked into oncoming traffic after stealing items from a nearby gas station.
 
Emergency personnel transported the woman to Kern Medical in critical condition.
 
Moreover, there is no description of the vehicle that struck the victim.
 
A further investigation on this hit and run is ongoing.
