Driver Arrested after DUI Crash on Tahquitz Canyon in Palm Springs

Palm Springs, CA (February 2, 2023) – Wednesday night, a woman sustained critical injuries in a DUI crash on Tahquitz Canyon.

The DUI crash in Palm Springs happened around 8:30 p.m. on February 1 at the intersection of Tahquitz Canyon and Sunrise Way.

Police said they found the woman unresponsive at the crash scene. EMS rushed her to the hospital where she remains in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old from Palm Springs, was contacted at the scene and showed “objective symptoms of being under the influence,”.

Currently, the driver faces a charge of suspicion of DUI.
