LAS VEGAS, NV (October 21, 2019) – A 57-year-old woman sustained critical injuries after a DUI crash on Mandalay Bay Road.

The police came to the three-car collision around 1:30 a.m. on Mandalay Bay Road, on the northern end of the property.

Reports revealed that a couple from Pittsburgh, CA traveled east toward Mandalay Bay Road in a 2019 Nissan Versa. However, the driver failed to slow down. As a result, it struck a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta that had slowed for traffic. In addition, the impact sent the Jetta to crash into a 2009 Honda Fit that had also slowed.

Nissan’s passenger, the 57-year-old woman, went to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities arrested 59-year-old Richard Mansapit after showing signs of impairment. Authorities held Mansapit at the Clark County Detention Center on related charges.
